Summary: Dana's valley cradles an average town in mid-America. The Walshes are a rather ordinary family by today's standards. They love one another and do a lot of laughing and fun things together. Daily activities intertwine through church, school, work, and play. Faith is an integral part of their lives as a family and as individuals. The Walsh family includes the father, David, who is a leader both at church and in the community. Angela is a full-time homemaker, and she is a wonderfully nurturing and creative mother. Brett, the oldest of the kids, is just entering high school, and sports captivate his interest and fill his time. Dana, not quite ready for junior high, is petite, pretty, and a very good student. Erin is a year younger and a bit taller. Beside being sister, the two girls are also best friends. Little brother Corey is a delight ot the whole family with his curiosity and enthusiasm. Each member of the family willb e called on for resources and reserves of strenght and character they did not know they had. Each will need to discover anew the God who is ther ein times of distress and int imes of triumph.
